Dr. Ademola Christopher Adewumi is a distinguished professional with over 25 years of corporate experience in the banking and power sector (distribution). He obtained his first degree in Botany from the University of Lagos, an MBA from the China Europe International Business School, Shanghai and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Entrepreneurship Development (honoris causa) from the ESPAM-Formation University, Cotonou. 

He started his professional career in banking in 1997 where he held roles in Customer Service Operations, Retail Banking and Corporate Banking for over 18 years at top-ranking banks in Nigeria, including Guaranty Trust Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, FSB International Bank (now Fidelity Bank), United Bank for Africa, Zenith Bank and First Bank of Nigeria before joining IBEDC as Regional Commercial Manager, Ibadan Region in 2016. 

Dr. Ademola has attended several professional courses in Leadership and Management both in Nigeria and overseas. He has also received several awards for his leadership and outstanding performances in the various establishments he served.
