Mr. Akeem Babatunde has over 30 years’ experience in diverse areas of the corporate world. He has worked in several banks including Nigerian American Merchant Bank Limited, Industrial Bank Limited (Merchant Banker) (which later became City Express Bank), Gateway Bank Plc, Intercontinental Bank Plc. (Now Access Bank Plc.) and Standard Chartered Bank. His work experience in the Bank covered Risk Management, Special Assets, Legal and Company Secretariat.

After leaving Standard Chartered Bank in 2018, Mr. Babatunde went back into private legal Practice with the Law Firm of Akeem Babatunde and Associates from where he joined Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company.

Mr. Babatunde holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM) degrees and has attended several Management courses both locally and internationally. He is an Honorary Senior Member of Chartered Institute of Bankers (HCIB).
